Within Quicken, typing in its Search box, using the left command key works the same as in cygwin. Within "cygwin", there is no evidence that the command key is depressed I just get regular letters. Using the right command key, the behavior seems to vary depending on what program is running. When I try this using the left command key, I get a capital "A" and caps-lock is turned on (additional alphabetic keypresses all are capitals). I have the mapping of command-A to ctrl-A, which I think was set in Fusion when I installed it. I need to restart to VM to correct the problem.
